Just added this suggestion to the uservoice:

Introduce a voluntary handicap system

Playing newbies would be more fun for both of us if I had 1-2 flux less per turn. For example, when an unbalanced game starts, the more experienced player could be asked if he wanted to grant the newbie a handicap. Or, there could be a separate matchup where the newbie could opt to only play games with an automatic handicap.

I also suggest giving the newbie a free creature (like an elven scout) or something like Treetop dominion at the start.

This can be done in two ways: either several scripts or one script with buttons at start that let's you choose handicap. Still - it's easy script.

The only problem that I see is that sometimes I get newbies in "Anyone" battle and in this case I can't use script.

Exactly! It's probably a good idea to try it out with scripts though. I'm just not the guy to do it :P

Failed on testing stage - 2nd player nor getting bonuses and also box appears for both players for some reason.

Works for 1st player though.

All hail altren, master of scripts. God, I have a lot to learn. Anyway, what about entities on the map as a handicap?
